Luiza Has been playing Handpan/Pantam since 2016 and have studied with multiple teachers, understanding the importance of having a private coach to advance in her skills. 

Her first teacher was Laura Inserra with whom she had private lessons with for 3+ years, which made her built a strong foundation to venture out into the world. She then studied with Tyson Ayers exploring musical theory, Justin Ezor (creator of the EZ handpan method) and Miguel Santamaria Jr. 

She has completed the Justin Ezor Handpan teacher training course in late 2025 and promptly started teaching 1:1 in person classes to beginner students in her Oakland studio.
